Summary:
The Production Operator is responsible for performing light assembly of electro-mechanical components in a controlled manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, steady hand coordination, and the ability to follow standardized work instructions to ensure product quality and consistency.
Essential Functions:
Perform light assembly of electro-mechanical products and subassemblies Follow work instructions, drawings, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Conduct basic soldering tasks (through-hole and/or small component work) Inspect components and finished assemblies for quality and accuracy Maintain a clean and organized work area Report defects, material issues, or process concerns to supervision Support production goals by meeting daily output and quality targets Assist with basic packaging, labeling, and material handling as needed Qualifications & Experience Minimum 2 years of relevant assembly experience, preferably in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment Prior soldering experience preferred Ability to read and follow basic assembly drawings and instructions Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset Skills & Requirements Good eyesight and manual dexterity for fine, detailed work Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during the workday Steady hands and good hand-eye coordination Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards Working Conditions Light industrial / production environment Repetitive tasks requiring focus and precision Use of small tools, soldering equipment, and assembly fixtures
