In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily assembly operations, ensuring that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Hours:
Monday - Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm (training will be from 4am-1230pm)
Pay Range:
$22.00an hour. The ability to earn more is available with our performance-based pay program Duties Assign daily activities to self and team-members to ensure the department stays on task and meets production requirements. Lead and coordinate assembly activities on the production floor, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards Supervise and mentor assembly team members, providing guidance on technical tasks and best practices Review schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to facilitate accurate assembly and fabrication processes Read and interpret schematics and blueprints for proper fabrication and assembly procedures Conduct quality inspections using mechanical knowledge and precision instruments to ensure products meet specifications Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes, inspections, and any issues encountered; support continuous improvement initiatives Maintains general housekeeping in department and additional areas assigned by plant leadership. Manage and maintain production machinery in specified area and train others how to use machinery. Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing or assembly environments with strong mechanical knowledge Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, precision measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering stations, and machining tools Familiarity with warehouse operations including forklift operation is a plus Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and quality Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills Prior experience with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation required Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks involving lifting or maneuvering heavy components "Lead by example" leadership style Join us as an Assembly Lead where your expertise will drive innovation and excellence!
