General Production Worker

Job description Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and versatile General Workers for immediate start in our bakery. This role is essential in supporting various bakery operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling, contributing to the preparation, transportation, and presentation of high-quality food products. Shift starts between 7am and 8am depending on the tasks for the day. Must be able to work extended shifts and overnight as needed. Responsibilities Assist in food production processes, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, handling food items with care, following proper food handling procedures. Put away and maintain organization of stock. Package finished products to be delivered to wholesale clients, ensuring they meet presentation standards. Provide excellent customer service to customers and bakery staff. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas. Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools. Skills Proficient in food handling practices, ensuring safety and hygiene standards are met. Experience in a professional bakery/kitchen environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Familiarity with various bakery tools and equipment, including knives is a plus. Safely and efficiently use a forklift to load and unload product. Attention to detail.
