$27-$29/hr. | DOE Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Engineering Technician to support our additive manufacturing operations. In this role, you will help ensure high-quality production while contributing to continuous improvement within a fast-paced digital manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical aptitude, strong problem-solving skills. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor equipment Troubleshoot 3D printer issues and identify root causes of downtime Support efforts to improve machine uptime and reduce scrap Perform preventative maintenance and help establish maintenance standards Document common issues and solutions for continuous improvement Conduct basic inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other tools Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas (5S standards) Assist with inventory, material handling, receiving, and shipping Participate in process improvement initiatives (Lean / Six Sigma) Support additional production and operational tasks as needed Qualifications Associate's degree or coursework in engineering, industrial design, or related field preferred Experience with 3D printing is a plus, but not required Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions Experience using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) required Familiarity with CAD software is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs occasionally Frequent standing, walking, bending, and use of hands Ability to perform repetitive tasks and operate equipment Work Environment Light manufacturing / production environment Exposure to dust and materials; PPE may be required Work around machinery, compressed air, and other equipment

Pay:

$20.00 - $21.00 per hour
