We are seeking an experienced Press Operator to join a busy manufacturing team. This position involves setting up and operating flexographic printing presses, monitoring product quality, and ensuring production runs efficiently while meeting daily goals. Key Responsibilities of a Press Operator Set up and operate flexographic printing presses. Review work orders and prepare materials for production. Install and change printing plates as needed. Monitor print quality, color, and machine performance. Make machine adjustments to maintain quality and reduce waste. Complete equipment changeovers and cleanups efficiently. Identify and report production or quality issues. Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning. Record production information accurately. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Work with team members to meet production deadlines. Follow all company safety procedures. Qualifications of a Press Operator High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 5 years of printing press operating experience. Experience with flexographic printing presses required. Strong understanding of print quality, color matching, and production efficiency. Ability to set up, adjust, and troubleshoot printing equipment. Ability to read and follow production instructions. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Reliable, dependable, and able to work well with a team. Work Environment Manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels.
