•22 Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Punch Press Operator to operate punch press machinery and produce metal components according to production specifications, blueprints, and work instructions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with metal, measuring parts, using hand tools, and maintaining a safe and organized production environment. Responsibilities Operate punch press and related metal fabrication equipment. Set up machines according to work orders, blueprints, and production specifications. Load and position metal sheets, plates, or components into the machine. Inspect finished parts for proper dimensions, quality, and accuracy. Use measuring equipment such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges. Make basic machine adjustments to maintain quality and production requirements. Read and follow blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and production orders. Perform quality checks throughout the production process. Remove finished parts and prepare them for the next stage of production. Identify defective materials or parts and report quality issues. Perform basic machine cleaning and routine maintenance. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE. Meet production, quality, and attendance requirements. Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous punch press, press brake, stamping, metal fabrication, or machine operation experience preferred. Manufacturing or metalworking experience preferred. Ability to read basic blueprints or mechanical drawings. Ability to use tape measures, calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools. Basic understanding of machine operation and production processes. Ability to use common hand and power tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive work. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Reliable attendance and transportation. Ability to work overtime as required. Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently bend, reach, lift, and move materials. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Work around moving machinery and metal materials. Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
