We work with businesses, entrepreneurs, artists, and organizations to turn creative concepts into professionally produced materials and finished products. As our production needs continue to grow, we are seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Production Associate to support our production and fulfillment operations throughout California. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working with physical products, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. Position Overview The Production Associate supports multiple stages of the production process, from material preparation and light assembly to finishing, quality inspection, packaging, and order fulfillment. Working alongside production and operations team members, the Production Associate helps ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and according to established quality standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable, attentive to detail, and comfortable working in a fast-paced creative production environment. Previous experience in production, printing, packaging, fulfillment, or light manufacturing is helpful but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and production of printed materials, promotional products, branded merchandise, marketing materials, and custom orders Prepare materials, components, and supplies for scheduled production projects Support light assembly, finishing, sorting, trimming, labeling, and product preparation Inspect completed products for quality, accuracy, appearance, quantity, and proper finishing Compare finished products with work orders and production specifications Identify and report damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrectly produced items Package finished products carefully for customer pickup, delivery, or shipment Assemble boxes, mailers, protective packaging, and other fulfillment materials Apply labels, packing slips, and other order documentation accurately Sort and stage completed orders according to production and fulfillment schedules Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing production materials and supplies Maintain organized inventories of packaging materials and production consumables Support routine inventory counts and material organization Follow production schedules, work orders, quality standards, and established procedures Help maintain efficient workflow during periods of increased production volume Keep production stations, storage areas, and shared workspaces clean and organized Follow workplace safety and proper material-handling procedures Communicate production issues or order discrepancies to the appropriate team member Work collaboratively with production, design, fulfillment, customer service, and operations teams Assist with additional production and fulfillment responsibilities as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in production, printing, packaging, fulfillment, shipping, promotional products, warehouse operations, or light manufacturing is preferred but not required Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Dependable attendance and punctuality Good organizational and time-management skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining consistent quality Comfortable working with different materials, products, and production assignments Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team Basic computer skills are helpful Willingness to learn production equipment, processes, and company procedures Ability to adapt to changing production priorities and daily workload requirements Positive and professional approach to assigned responsibilities Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive production tasks Ability to safely lift and move materials, supplies, and finished products consistent with the requirements of the position Ability to perform hands-on production, assembly, finishing, and packaging duties throughout the workday Ability to work safely around standard production and material-handling equipment What We Offer Competitive compensation Full-time employment opportunities Paid training On-the-job training Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunities to learn multiple areas of production and fulfillment Professional development and opportunities for additional responsibilities Employee discounts on eligible company products and services Paid time off and paid sick time for eligible employees Why Join SG Design Studios?
