Job Description

Production Associate — Hydrogel Manufacturing (Entry Level) About the Role We make hydrogels, and we're growing. We're hiring Production Associates to run our manufacturing floor — mixing, casting, cutting, inspecting, and packaging product that ships to customers nationwide. This is a hands-on, entry-level job. You do not need manufacturing experience or a science background. If you show up on time, follow a process carefully, and take pride in doing things right, we will teach you everything else. Many of our leads and supervisors started in this exact role. What You'll Do Weigh, measure, and mix raw materials according to written batch instructions Operate production equipment for casting, curing, and die-cutting hydrogel sheets Inspect product for defects — thickness, clarity, air bubbles, edge quality Package, seal, label, and palletize finished goods Record batch and lot information accurately on production paperwork Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas between runs Follow all safety, gowning, and good manufacturing practice (GMP) procedures Communicate issues to your lead quickly — we'd rather stop a run than ship a bad one What We're Looking For 18 years or older Reliable attendance and on-time arrival — this is the single most important thing Able to read, write, and follow written instructions in English (batch records) Able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for a full shift Able to lift up to [40] lbs regularly Comfortable wearing gloves, safety glasses, hair/beard covering, and other required PPE Careful and detail-oriented — small mistakes are expensive in this work Team player who communicates and helps out where needed Physical Requirements Standing and walking for the majority of an 8-hour shift. Frequent lifting up to 40lbs. Repetitive hand and arm motion. Work in a controlled production environment requiring PPE. Reasonable accommodations will be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
