- Full-time (32-40 hrs/week)
- $28-$32/hr based on experience + health benefits + tips at markets & events About us Woman-owned, Healdsburg-based small-batch maker of chef-crafted, herbalist-formulated cocktail mixers and shrubs (drinking vinegars), highlighting fruit, herbs, and farms of Sonoma and Marin counties.
Every batch is made by hand in our commercial kitchen. Sold direct at farmers' markets and special events (craft fairs, private events, concerts), online to customers across the country, and wholesale to bars, restaurants, and specialty shops. The role Full-time teammate supporting our three engines: production, fulfillment, and markets. Tuesdays in the kitchen — prepping, cooking, bottling, and labeling mixers and shrubs with fresh local fruit and herbs (plus occasional lavender or doug fir tip harvests). Midweek fulfillment — online and wholesale orders, shipping, inventory. Two events per week — load-in/out, booth setup, sales, samples, preparing drinks, being the warm, knowledgeable face of Land + Local. Mostly farmers' markets in Sonoma and Marin; some evening or weekend special events. High autonomy paired with close collaboration with the owner. We want someone trusted with real responsibility who'll also say "here's what I'm seeing" when something needs to change. You'd be a great fit if you… Have production-kitchen, restaurant, or café experience — you know your way around a kitchen and care about doing things cleanly and well. Have sales or customer-facing experience — you can pour a sample, answer questions, prepare a drink, and close a sale without it feeling like a pitch. Work well independently and communicate openly — can run a market solo, then turn around and spend the next day side-by-side with the owner. Can lift up to 40 lbs and stay on your feet for a 6-hour market shift. Have a valid driver's license, clean driving record (required for our commercial auto policy), reliable personal transportation, and are comfortable driving a cargo van or U-Haul van for special events. Are available for production Tuesdays and both weekend days for farmers' markets + events. Flexibility to design your schedule other days to complete your hours. Are a great multi-tasker and excited to be a part of a small growing business Bonus points Passionate about farmers' markets and local produce; interested in mixology, herbalism, and the local food + drink scene; Have your food handler's card (or willing to get one). Where this role could go As we continue to grow, we see this growing into a Manager position of Direct-to-Consumer Sales, Farmers Market Manager, or Production Manager based on your skill sets and passions.
