How Corrugated Boxes are Made www.gppackaging.com What You Will Do In Your Role Assist in the setup of equipment to defined standards and product specification targets Monitor and/or enter data into computer control systems Assist with troubleshooting equipment to optimize production Read tape measure in increments of 1/16" Perform basic quality checks, multitask, pay special attention to detail, and communicate effectively with peers and management Perform basic asset care duties to include routine preventative maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work environment Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals Operate and/or work around mobile equipment Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day or as needed during the shift, in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environment Work in a fast-paced environment Basic Qualifications Experience working in a fast-paced environment in a manufacturing, agricultural, warehouse OR military environment OR completion of post high school education in manufacturing/industrial What Will Put You Ahead Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device One (1) year or more experience working in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment Experience working in the corrugated packaging industry For this role, we anticipate paying $22.68 per hour.
