The ideal candidate will have experience working in Missy, Junior, Tops, Dresses, outerwear and sweaters.

Responsibilities:

Create development thru production patterns or detailed specs and sewing callouts Compile information on all garment components including fit, fabric, construction, and trim Identify potential product, quality and costing issues and make appropriate recommendations with designers and sales/production team Check construction and quality of product to ensure sample has proper construction for garment category and fabrication Communicate fit and balance issues to factory pattern makers in either written and/or visual methods Partner with Design through the hand off and fitting process Send fit comments and corrections to vendors Revise patterns or specs after buyers comments to overseas factories on approvals or corrections needed

Requirements:

Ability to translate a flat sketch into well fitting garments providing patterns or specs on Excel Must be proficient with knowledge and skill in fit and pattern corrections, grading, construction manufacturing methods, sewing Experience in grading and ability to understand grade rules Knowledge of preparing and writing product specification sheet
