The ideal candidate enjoys working with food, has an eye for detail, and is comfortable working efficiently in a busy environment. Responsibilities Decorate cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and other baked goods according to bakery standards and customer orders. Prepare and assemble bakery products while maintaining consistent quality and presentation. Assist with general bakery production and daily kitchen duties. Keep workstations, equipment, and preparation areas clean, organized, and sanitary. Wash and sanitize baking pans, utensils, mixing bowls, and other equipment. Properly store ingredients and supplies and help maintain an organized inventory. Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized bakery throughout the workday. Work efficiently while handling multiple tasks and customer orders in a fast-paced environment. Assist other bakery team members as needed to ensure daily production goals are met. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous bakery or cake decorating experience is preferred but not required. Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and pride in the appearance of finished products. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and washing dishes and pans. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn and follow bakery procedures and food safety standards.
