General Production Worker

General Production Worker (3rd Shift) Job Description This role supports a high-volume plastic injection molding operation on the 3rd shift from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. You will prepare, inspect, and package plastic parts produced by injection molding machines, ensuring they meet quality and labeling standards. The position is physically active and involves repetitive tasks such as trimming, cutting, labeling, and packing while maintaining accurate records and a clean work area. Responsibilities Operate within a plastic injection molding production line to process and prepare plastic parts. Work on plastics parts produced by injection mold machines and prepare products for packaging and shipment. Stand, walk, and bend throughout production hours to complete assigned tasks. Lift and handle materials weighing approximately 5-20 pounds on a repetitive basis. Prepare production materials throughout the shift to ensure continuous workflow. Use a variety of hand tools and equipment to perform repetitive cutting, gripping, shaving, and trimming of plastic parts. Trim and cut excess plastic from parts to smooth surfaces and ensure products meet specifications. Inspect parts and report any defects or quality issues promptly. Apply stickers and labels accurately to products before stacking and palletizing. Pack finished products into boxes in an organized and efficient manner. Stack and palletize labeled and boxed products for storage or shipment. Maintain accurate inventory counts and track materials as required. Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris throughout the shift. Work effectively in all climate temperatures during every season inside the facility. Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records of daily activities and production output throughout the shift. Collaborate with team members or work independently as needed to meet production goals. Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment and safe handling of tools and materials. Essential Skills Experience in general production, machine operation, or manufacturing environments. Ability to work 3rd shift hours from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Capability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods during production hours. Ability to lift and carry 5-20 pounds repetitively throughout the shift. Skill in using basic hand tools for cutting, trimming, gripping, shaving, and labeling tasks. Attention to detail to trim excess plastic accurately and meet product specifications. Ability to identify and report defects or quality issues in products. Basic inventory awareness and ability to keep track of materials and finished goods. Ability to complete simple paperwork and maintain daily production records. Willingness and ability to work in varying climate temperatures in all seasons. Comfort working in a fast-paced production environment with repetitive tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in general labor, general production, or material handling. Experience with plastic extrusion, injection molding, or similar machine operations. Familiarity with stacking, labeling, packing, and palletizing processes. Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently. Comfort working in a predominantly Spanish-speaking culture or multilingual environment. Why Work Here?
