Job Description

Pacific Coast Producers, a growing agricultural cooperative with food production facilities across the West Coast, is seeking to fill Seasonal Production Assistants with qualified, capable individuals for our Distribution Center in Lodi, CA. PCP is dedicated to investing in its people and fostering a culture of service, where each employee can do their best to make affordable, high-quality food for customers across North America. The Distribution Center is a 1.5m sq. ft. packaging, labeling and distribution facility with approximately 400 employees. The DC operation supports both retail and foodservice customers and labels, cases, and ships nationwide approximately fifty (50) million cases every year. Pay Rate:
$22.00 per hour. This is a seasonal, on-site role, with occasional weekend and overtime hours required as needed for our Distribution Center in Lodi, CA. Three shifts available. Key Responsibilities:
Prior lead or supervisory experience required. Review employee training and offer solutions for best practices.

Check status on all open work orders for the day.

Check label room inventory and match against daily/weekly label needs.

Move inventory in warehouse management system and create LPN's for production.

Ensure that all Safe Quality Foods procedures are being followed and to maintain safe working environment.

Monitor damage prevention and keep management informed of progress.

Monitor fiber locations for inventory levels as well as cleanliness and organization.

Check pallet yard to ensure inventory levels and organization meet company standards.

Verify pallet and case counts and adjust where needed.

Audit forklift drivers to ensure policies and standards are being upheld.
Job Requirements:
Intermediate computer skills; Microsoft office, Word, Excel. Etc.

WMS experience a plus.

Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.

Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks at any given time.

Highly organized, self-directed, and able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
