Inspector/Production Operator Job Description Join a dynamic team in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment, where you will play a key role in ensuring quality and efficiency within the Stamping & Body Weld departments. As an Inspector/Production Operator, you will be responsible for collecting, sorting, and stacking parts as they move through the production process. You will work with various part sizes depending on the production order and will need to complete your duties within allocated cycle times. Responsibilities Collect, sort, and stack parts as they move through the process. Work with different size parts based on the production order. Complete duties within allotted cycle times and finish allocated parts within the production time. Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including Kevlar sleeves, safety gloves, safety glasses, safety helmet, safety face shield, leather apron, ear and noise protection, and steel toe shoes. Stand and be on feet for 8+ hours per day. Perform tasks involving repetitive motion. Essential Skills Experience in production, inspection, and quality control. Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and hand tools. Understanding of blueprints and quality inspection processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required. Forklift experience (2 years) is advantageous, but not mandatory. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Beach, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.47 - $26.22/hr.
