We support clients in financial services, digital media, healthcare, transportation, and other highly regulated industries. Our operations combine advanced technology, print production, data accuracy, and quality control to deliver time-sensitive communications nationwide. Position Summary O'Neil Digital Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Control Coordinator to support our weekend print manufacturing operations. This position coordinates production workflows across printing and finishing departments, including job scheduling, workflow routing, production tracking, reporting, documentation, quality control, and shift turnover. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven manufacturing environment while maintaining accurate, real-time visibility into all active production jobs. Strong computer skills, accurate data entry, and Microsoft Excel proficiency are essential to this role.
Schedule and Pay Schedule:
Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Pay:
$24.00 per hour, plus applicable shift differential pay Availability for all three scheduled days and the entire shift is mandatory. This is a fixed Saturday-Monday schedule. Saturday-and-Sunday-only availability cannot be accommodated. Overtime may be required based on business and production needs. Key Responsibilities Production Control and Workflow Coordination Coordinate and expedite materials, job tickets, and work orders through printing and finishing departments. Release incoming print jobs into production and maintain accurate shift-start and shift-end schedules. Route jobs according to production priorities, deadlines, and department capacity. Enter and update job information in Time Tracker with a high level of accuracy. Monitor production progress throughout the shift and track job status against scheduled deadlines. Maintain accurate visibility into active, completed, delayed, and pending jobs. Communicate production priorities and workflow updates to appropriate team members and departments. Support timely completion of print production and finishing activities. Reporting, Documentation, and Shift Turnover Update and maintain the master shift folder, production reports, job logs, and related documentation. Prepare accurate daily and shift-end production reports. Follow established record-retention, documentation, and file-management procedures. Document job status, exceptions, delays, and outstanding issues for the next shift. Conduct clear and accurate shift turnover communications. Maintain organized digital files, PDFs, spreadsheets, and production records. Issue Identification and Escalation Identify potential production delays, errors, bottlenecks, and workflow issues. Escalate production concerns promptly and provide recommended solutions when possible. Notify management of equipment downtime, maintenance requirements, or operational interruptions. Communicate exceptions that may affect production schedules, quality, accuracy, or client deliverables. Help ensure production activities and documentation meet company quality and accuracy standards. General Operations Operate assigned production control systems, software, and computer applications efficiently and accurately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow company procedures, safety requirements, operating instructions, standard operating procedures, and quality standards. Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Advanced computer literacy with the ability to work across multiple systems, applications, shared drives, digital file structures, and production databases. Strong Microsoft Excel skills are mandatory, including the ability to create, update, organize, and interpret spreadsheets, reports, logs, and production data. Demonstrated ability to perform accurate data entry and navigate multiple software systems. Working knowledge of PDF files, digital document management, file structures, and data-management processes. Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant manufacturing or production experience. Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple active jobs, priorities, deadlines, and workflow updates simultaneously. Ability to read and interpret safety documents, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Strong written communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports, shift notes, and business correspondence. Solid mathematical skills for production calculations, quantity verification, and data validation. Must be available to work every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Candidates without demonstrated Microsoft Excel and computer proficiency will not be considered. Preferred Qualifications Experience in print manufacturing, digital printing, print production, production control, production scheduling, or manufacturing operations. Experience coordinating work across printing, finishing, warehouse, fulfillment, or production departments. Experience with inventory management, order processing, ERP, MIS, time-tracking, or production workflow systems. Experience working in a high-volume, deadline-driven production environment. Familiarity with production reports, job tracking, workflow routing, and shift handoff procedures.
