Job Description
Position Summary Helpers serve as assistants to the production work centers across the production buildings. Helpers are expected to help with various maintenance tasks that are assigned to them by the staff. These tasks differ according to the needs of the staff and whatever needs to be completed to support the production of our parts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in production work centers across all buildings. Clean and sustain a safe and organized production area (includes indoor and outdoor areas). Sweep, mop, and remove debris from floors, equipment, parts and machines. Load and unload items from machines, cranes, carts, and dollies. Feed or place items onto equipment for processing. Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in preparation of machinery work. Assist operator in set up, adjusting, and operating all of the basic machine tools in order to perform precision machining operations. Other duties as assigned. Position Requirements Must have a high school diploma Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Candidate must be able to follow instructions, safety oriented, productive, efficient punctual and good housekeeping awareness. Manufacturing experience is a plus Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings is a plus Forklift experience is a plus
