  • Job Description This role supports the Production Planning team by managing receiving, inventory control, ERP transactions, production documentation, and general production control activities.

It is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional who is detail-oriented, enjoys a mix of computer-based and hands-on work, and is interested in manufacturing operations and production flow within a growing aerospace and robotics environment. Responsibilities

+ Receive incoming materials, hardware, and components in a timely and accurate manner.

+ Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and receiving documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

+ Perform receiving inspections and verify documentation to confirm materials meet requirements.

+ Process inventory transactions within the ERP system to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

+ Use RF scanners and inventory tracking systems to manage and update inventory data.

+ Support inventory control activities, including cycle counts and material movement throughout the facility.

+ Pick up and transport materials from local vendors as needed to support production schedules.

+ Assist with shipping activities, including packaging, labeling, and preparing shipping documentation.

+ Support production planners with material coordination and production flow requirements to ensure on-time delivery.

+ Conduct document reviews to verify material and production records for completeness and accuracy.

+ Update and maintain inventory and production data within company systems and tools.

+ Monitor inventory accuracy, identify discrepancies, and investigate root causes to resolve issues.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality to support operational needs.

+ Follow established procedures and work instructions to ensure accurate inventory and production records.

+ Handle hardware and materials safely and efficiently while supporting both office and shipping floor activities. Essential Skills

+ BA degree in business, supply chain, or a related field with internship experience OR 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, production control, supply chain, warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, or a related field.

+ Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems.

+ Hands-on experience with inventory management and inventory control processes.

+ Ability to use RF scanners and inventory tracking systems.

+ Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

+ Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.

+ Ability to lift and handle hardware and materials as required.

+ Ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow established procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Interest in manufacturing operations, production flow, and supply chain planning.

+ Experience in shipping and receiving activities within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

+ Exposure to aerospace, robotics, or high-technology manufacturing environments.

+ Comfort working in both office and hands-on warehouse or shipping areas.

+ Desire for career growth within production planning or supply chain as the organization expands. Work Environment This position is 100% onsite with standard hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You will split your time between an office setting and a small shipping floor where parts and materials are stored, rather than a large-scale warehouse. The environment supports advanced aerospace and space robotics operations, with a focus on precision, documentation accuracy, and collaboration across Production, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality teams. You will regularly work with ERP systems, inventory management tools, RF scanners, and standard office software while handling physical materials and components in a controlled storage area. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasadena, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
