Job Description

Manufacturing Associate 2-SD-USD#26-13482 $1.00-$28.28 per hour San Diego, CA Onsite Job Description See attached Job Description and Intake Form Day to Day Responsibilities (Being thorough in this section will allow the suppliers to pre-identify candidates more accurately.) Meet the team: Our team leads the research and development of next generation sensor technologies, spanning early-stage concept exploration to scalable manufacturing solutions. We innovate Client processes, materials, and equipment architectures that enable both breakthrough sensor performance. This uniquely integrated R D environment bridges exploratory science with translational engineering, allowing technical contributions to directly influence current products while shaping future platforms—advancing meaningful, real-world impact for our customers every day.
Where you come in:
  • You work with Senior Scientists, Engineers and a team of Technicians to manufacture functional prototype sensors for cutting edge future product designs.
  • You will support engineering builds by fabricating units, collecting data, providing feedback, and helping to problem solve issues
  • You perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance for instruments and equipment, as well as setup/teardown activities daily.
  • You perform laboratory-related clerical duties including filing, recordkeeping, entering data into computer database, and documenting experimental results when necessary.
  • You will conduct bench-top laboratory experiments for device characterization.
  • You maintain a clean working environment and help keep track of existing sensor and material inventory.
  • You will input data utilizing various software including but not limited to Excel What makes you successful:

Experience and Education Requirements:
