Job Description

Jewelry Production Assistant We're seeking a detail-oriented Jewelry Production Assistant to join our team. This role includes polishing sterling silver jewelry, assisting with shipping, working with natural abalone shell, and helping with a variety of day-to-day studio operations. The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, has exceptional attention to detail, and is excited to learn the craftsmanship behind handmade jewelry. Responsibilities Polish sterling silver jewelry from the post-soldering stage through a high-shine finish (training available for the right candidate). Sand, finish, and inspect jewelry to ensure every piece meets our quality standards. Prepare and package customer orders for shipment with great attention to detail. Assemble shipping boxes and organize shipping materials. Work with natural abalone shell during various stages of jewelry production. Assist with inventory organization, production support, and other daily studio tasks. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace. Qualifications Jewelry polishing experience is preferred but not required . Previous experience in jewelry production, metalworking, manufacturing, or other hands-on craftsmanship is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work. Comfortable working with delicate handmade jewelry and natural materials. Reliable, organized, and self-motivated. Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a small team. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in creating beautiful products. While jewelry polishing experience isn't required, it will give you a leg up during the hiring process. We're happy to train the right person who is eager to learn, dependable, and excited to be part of a growing handcrafted jewelry business. In addition to polishing, you'll play an important role in shipping customer orders, preparing packaging, working with natural abalone shell, and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the studio.
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
