Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and motivated Lead Technician to join a growing manufacturer. This position assists the supervisor in coordinating activities of manufacturing personnel . In this pivotal role, you will oversee projects, coordinate technical operations, and ensure the highest standards of safety and quality. The ideal candidate will preferably possess extensive experience in manufacturing adhesives, along with strong leadership capabilities. This position offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team in delivering exceptional service to clients while maintaining compliance with safety protocols and industry standards. Responsibilities Inspect products throughout the production process to ensure they meet established specifications and quality standards. Monitor employee adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), company procedures, regulatory requirements, and workplace safety standards. Provide employees with guidance on production processes, specifications, and standard operating procedures. Identify and recommend improvements to production processes, equipment efficiency, and overall product quality. Produce products in accordance with established manufacturing procedures, quality standards, and specifications. Train and coach employees on revised procedures, process changes, and proper workmanship techniques. Operate, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on manufacturing and production equipment. Support product validation, testing, and pilot-scale production activities as needed. Complete and maintain production records, quality documentation, and other required paperwork in accordance with company policies. Monitor inventory levels and maintain organized, clean, and safe work areas while completing scheduled production-related tasks. Perform product packaging duties, including boxing, labeling, and preparing finished goods for shipment. Requirements Associate degree or equivalent education from a two-year college, with 2-4 years of relevant work experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose issues, troubleshoot equipment, and develop effective solutions. Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with coworkers and contribute positively to a team environment. Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete tasks accurately and consistently. Effective organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities. Must be able to lift/move up to 50lbs. Apply today!
Pay:
$31.00 - $33.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
