Production Assistant

Overview We're a Producer/Director team bringing a light production setup into a school camping weekend in Santa Barbara. This is a camp setting—but we run it like a set. This is part production, part camp magic. You'll see how we work behind the curtain while helping create a seamless, high-touch experience for our families. We're looking for a set-savvy PA who can handle gear, move fast, and stay sharp when it counts. You'll be working around families and kids, so being comfortable in a kid-friendly environment is essential—but this is a production-first role. preferred; lodging provided if needed) Rate $250 / 12-hour day Meals included What You'll Do Load in/out equipment (lighting, stands, basic gear) Set and properly secure C-stands and lights Assist with simple audio/karaoke setup and operation Maintain clean, safe setups (especially at night) General PA support: resets, coolers, trash, quick turns Support full wrap and pack-out You're a Fit If You Have real set experience (you know how to properly use a C-stand) Can lift, carry, and move efficiently Stay focused and reliable during long / late event days Take pride in clean setups and clean wraps Bring a strong, positive attitude Requirements Valid driver's license + reliable personal vehicle Comfortable passing a background check Physically capable of lifting equipment Must be comfortable working in a kid- and family-facing environment—professional, respectful, and easy to be around. Experience with kids is a plus; we appreciate people who both kids and parents enjoy having around.
