Production Assistant

Overview We're a Producer/Director team hosting a school camping weekend in Santa Barbara. This is part production, part camp magic. You'll see how we work behind the curtain while helping create a seamless, high-touch experience for our families. We're hiring a small team of:

• Set-savvy Production Assistants (gear, lighting, setup, general support)
• Camp-minded Coordinators (organization, activities, guest experience) We're looking for people who love organization, details, and people, and can move from spreadsheet → crafts table → lighting → karaoke without missing a beat.

You should be able to shift between logistics, kids, and physical tasks, move fast when needed, stay focused under pressure, and help keep the entire weekend running smoothly, energized, and happy. Dates & Commitment

• Thurs 4/16 — Prep (West LA, TBD)
• Fri 4/17 - Sun 4/19 — On-site (Santa Barbara)
• Sunday PM — Potential return to West LA (Santa Barbara local strongly preferred; lodging provided if needed) Rate $250 / 12-hour day Meals included What You May Do
• Support check-in, guest flow, and activities
• Lead arts & crafts + assist with skit night and karaoke
• Load in/out equipment (lighting, stands, basic gear)
• Set and secure C-stands and lights
• Run simple audio setups
• Maintain clean, safe setups and resets

• Are organized, reliable, and good with people
• Have production/set experience and/or strong event/camp experience
• Can lift, move, and work on your feet
• Take pride in clean setups and follow-through
• Bring a great attitude Requirements
• Valid driver's license + reliable personal vehicle
• Comfortable passing a background check
• Physically capable of lifting equipment Bonus
• Camp counselor / education experience
• Arts & crafts leadership
