Valencia, CA Job Details Temporary | Full-time $19.02 - $22.47 an hour 3 days ago Qualifications Teamwork High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Hand tools Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description Aerospace Assembler Responsibilities & Duties Assemble and install aircraft components and parts according to technical specifications and blueprints. Inspect and test completed assemblies for defects and ensure adherence to quality standards. Operate various hand tools, power tools, and machinery to perform assembly tasks. Read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics. Perform routine maintenance on assembly equipment and tools. Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations at all times. Maintain accurate records of production and assembly activities. Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve assembly issues. Ensure proper documentation of completed assemblies and part numbers for traceability. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes. Train and mentor junior assemblers on assembly techniques and safety procedures. Handle and transport aerospace components safely to avoid damage. Aerospace Assembler Qualifications & Skills Previous experience in aerospace assembly or a related field. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices. Completion of technical training or certification in aerospace technology. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency in using advanced assembly tools and equipment. Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as AS9100. High school diploma or equivalent. Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical assembly processes. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy components if required. Willingness to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Commitment to adhering to safety and quality standards.
Pay:
$19.02 - $22.47 per hour
