Machine Shop Assistant

Full-Circle Inc. was established in 1992 and manufactures swivel connectors for the liquefied gas industry allowing for 360-degree rotation of pipework. Such applications include hose reels, filler valves, bulkheads, and railroad loading arms for industries such as propane and industrial gas. We are looking for a competent Machine Shop Assistant that is willing to learn all traits of the manufacturing/assembly process with the #1 goal of shipping product out timely, yet efficiently for our customer base Prep, assemble, paint, and test repair parts and completed swivels as needed for customer orders. Position or align components for assembly. Setting up and monitoring lapping (polishing) wheels for seal components Preparing machined parts to be assembled Fasten or install components to form assemblies or subassemblies, using hand tools and other equipment as needed. Operate manual metalworking machines, such as milling or grinding machines, drill press, and/or lapping wheel.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

1 year of manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred, but not required. Mechanical knowledge of tools (manual and pneumatic), machines, and required maintenance is preferred but not required Attention to detail Strict adherence to quality and attendance Willingness to learn and take on new challenges

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Assisting in packaging components in the shipping department as needed

• Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, gloves and breathing respirators.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
• Notify Manager when inventory is low.
• Perform back-up for in-house janitorial duties.
