Job Overview Join our dynamic food processing plant as a Production Worker and become a vital part of delivering high-quality, safe, and delicious food products. In this energetic role, you will be actively involved in various stages of food production, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help maintain efficient operations and uphold our commitment to food safety and quality. Responsibilities Operate machinery and equipment used in food processing, packaging, and manufacturing processes while adhering to safety protocols. Follow strict FDA regulations, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines to ensure product safety and quality. Assist in sanitation and cleaning procedures to maintain a hygienic environment in accordance with food safety standards. Measure ingredients or components accurately using basic math skills for consistent product output. Conduct routine inspections of products and packaging to identify defects or inconsistencies. Support the use of mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues quickly to minimize downtime. Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move raw materials and finished goods within the plant. Requirements Prior experience in food production, manufacturing, or a related food processing plant is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and food safety practices is highly desirable. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for ingredient measurement and quality checks. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire. Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation, safety, and quality standards in the food industry.
