About the Role As a Production Machine Operator, you will be the driving force behind our automotive production line, ensuring that high-quality components are manufactured efficiently and safely. You will manage the full production cycle, from initial setup and material staging to final trimming and quality inspection, playing a critical role in maintaining our operational throughput. Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end operation of production machinery, including layup, consolidation, and trimming processes. Perform routine equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to minimize downtime and maximize machine performance. Conduct rigorous quality control inspections on finished parts to ensure adherence to strict technical specifications. Maintain accurate production logs, documenting hourly output, downtime causes, and quality metrics. Uphold a high standard of workplace safety by identifying hazards and ensuring all equipment safety barriers are functional. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production flow and effective communication of operational data. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace to support lean manufacturing principles. Qualifications Required Skills 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial machine operation environment. Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic equipment adjustments. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify non-conforming products. Ability to follow complex safety protocols and operational procedures consistently. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Preferred Skills Direct experience operating waterjet, press, or composite layup machinery. Familiarity with advanced thermoplastic composite materials. Experience working within a fast-paced, automated production cell environment.
