What You'll Do as a Production Assistant Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:- Assembling and packaging parts according to clearly defined Work Orders
- Following standard operating procedures and QC checks with strict attention to detail
- Assisting the Manufacturing Team in producing, finishing, and preparing components
- Performing daily packing duties to meet fulfillment needs
- Entering accurate data for work orders and production tracking
- Keeping your work area organized according to 5S standards
- Communicating professionally with the Production Controller and Operations Manager
- Supporting the team wherever needed, especially when production priorities shift You'll Thrive in
This Role If You Are:
- Naturally focused and precise with a steady hand and sharp eye for detail
- Someone who enjoys routine, consistency , and well-documented systems
- Comfortable working independently and producing consistent, high-quality work
- Patient, conscientious , and mechanically inclined
- A strong communicator when it matters, but focused on getting the job done right
- Committed to safety, professionalism, and integrity in all your work Requirements & Qualifications
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy items using proper technique
- Able to focus and work efficiently through a standard 8-hour shift
- Experience with hand tools, mechanical assembly , or technical environments preferred
- Familiarity with computer-based tracking systems and ERP/MRP software is a plus
- Must be organized , dependable, and able to follow structured processes
- Previous manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience is a plus Why GT Tools?
