Load Checker Pay:
$21.50/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-4:00
PM Hours:
45-55 hours/week, with occasional weekends as needed Job Overview We're looking for a detail-oriented Load Checker to help make sure outgoing shipments are accurate, complete, properly labeled, and ready for delivery. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying organized, and working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Verify outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness Label and package products according to company standards Check loads and resolve discrepancies with the warehouse/plant team Maintain accurate shipment records Follow all safety and quality procedures Communicate effectively with team members and help keep shipments moving on time What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work outdoors and in changing weather conditions Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
Preferred:
Precast/concrete industry experience, warehouse management system experience, or forklift certification. Working Conditions This is a hands-on position in a concrete/precast environment . You may work both indoors and outdoors and will be exposed to concrete dust, noise, bright or dim lighting, and varying temperatures. Hard hat, steel-toe boots, and other required PPE must be worn.
