Job Description

Nesco Resource is looking for a Production Team Lead located in Bethel, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Shift:
Monday-Friday 6AM-4/5
PM Pay:
$25/hour depending on
Experience Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Team Lead to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supporting daily production operations, assisting supervisors, coordinating workflow, and ensuring quality and productivity standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate will have a strong production background, leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Coordinate daily workflow and assist with production scheduling and task assignments. Lead by example while performing production-related duties and supporting team operations. Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements. Monitor production activities and proactively communicate issues that may impact productivity or delivery schedules. Train and support team members on processes, procedures, and best practices. Conduct quality checks and verify production output to ensure accuracy and compliance. Prepare and maintain production records, reports, and related documentation. Track and record production data accurately and ensure reports are completed on time. Maintain adequate materials and supplies to support uninterrupted production. Assist with the movement of materials and finished goods throughout the production process. Communicate team performance, productivity concerns, and operational challenges to management. Promote a positive team environment focused on continuous improvement, quality, and efficiency. Participate in process improvement initiatives and support operational excellence efforts. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of manufacturing or production experience. At least 2 years of leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. High school diploma or equivalent required. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Positive leadership style and ability to motivate others. Strong organizational and time management skills. Dependable and team-oriented mindset. Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing production demands. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
