POSITION PURPOSE
The production assistant is responsible for managing activities that ensure effective communication across processes while maintaining organization and accurate records. This role includes supporting production scheduling, overseeing product inventory, handling correspondence, coordinating with external entities, managing product shipping logistics, and providing administrative support to all departments. This position is flexible and perfect for graduates, parents, or anybody with limited experience/availability. High School Diploma Experience:
Experience in this position is not mandatory; however, one year as a Production Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or related position is preferred. Additional Training or validation by experience (no written certificate is required): Knowledge of the metalworking sector. English and Spanish. RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Responsibilities Receive and respond to phone calls, emails, and other communications from clients, suppliers, and stakeholders. Maintain control and organization of physical and electronic files, ensuring order, accessibility, and confidentiality. Draft and prepare communications, letters, reports, and other business documents. Provide administrative support across different organizational processes and departments. Monitor office and production material stock, reporting purchasing needs to prevent shortages. Keep the product inventory updated and accurate. Perform any additional tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor. QMS Responsibilities Participate in the implementation and improvement of the quality management system. Apply the procedures and controls determined for your process. Participate in process improvements and changes. Keep your process information up-to-date.
