Job Description

About Church Hill Classics:
Church Hill Classics, we've proudly handcrafted over two million custom diploma frames, certificate frames, varsity letter frames, and award frames since 1991. Based in Monroe, CT, our female-owned company remains a U.S. leader in premium custom framing—trusted by over 1,500 colleges and universities, honor societies, the U.S. Military, and professional associations.
The Role:
We're looking for temporary, seasonal help in our embossing department to support us by preparing materials, inspecting components, and staging work to ensure efficient, high-quality production during our peak season. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, passionate about accuracy, and comfortable working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role helps maintain the flow of operations by ensuring that all materials meet job specifications and are ready for use in custom matting and framing throughout the graduating season. This is currently a temporary role lasting 60 days. However, there may be potential to either extend the temporary assignment or convert to a permanent position in the event the temporary employee demonstrates outstanding reliability, accuracy, and productivity, as well as if the business determines additional headcount is needed in this area after the conclusion of the temporary assignment.
What You'll Do:
Prepare matboard material according to priority as assigned. Inspect materials and components for defects, correct sizing, and embossing accuracy prior to embossing. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas. Communicate with leads regarding job details, priorities, or material issues. Maintain an awareness of mechanical issues as relevant (e.g., mat cutters, Scodix machines, embossing machines, UV printers) and report problems to maintenance. Monitor inventory of embossing prep supplies and notify leads when restocking is needed. Meets department and/or task key performance indicators (KPI). Follows all standard operating procedures and safety protocols. Performs other duties as assigned.
Why Join Us:
Because we're more than just a manufacturer—we're storytellers of achievement, innovators of design, and dedicated to delivering craftsmanship that celebrates life's milestones. As part of the Church Hill Classics team, you will be part of a brand recognized for excellence and quality, and you will be an active participant in contributing to the growth and success of a company that values precision, creativity, and collaboration.
