Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. If you are currently in a Corporate environment & need a change, this private practice has been successful for over 35 years with the same owner/Doctor. along with amazing team members that work together. This vital role involves managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and supporting clinical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and familiarity with dental office procedures. Prior experience in a dental office setting is highly preferred. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to quality patient care in a professional environment. Duties Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments efficiently Manage patient records and update information accurately in the electronic health record system Verify insurance details and process billing as needed Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and follow-up care Support clinical staff by preparing patient charts and documentation Handle phone calls, emails, and other correspondence related to patient inquiries Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry Requirements Prior experience in a dental office setting is a must Knowledge of dental terminology and administrative support procedures Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Proficiency in office software and electronic health record systems Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience with dental office operations is a must Professional demeanor with a compassionate approach to patient care

$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
