Production Associate
- 1 st Shift
- $4,000 BONUS!
Location:
Plainfield, CT Shift:
1st Shift- 6 AM to 2:30 PM with
Potential OT Pay Rate:

Blueprint Reading:
Interpret blueprints, work orders, specifications, and safety requirements with accuracy.Cutting & Fabrication:
Cut wood and metal to precise specifications using saws, shears, and other equipment.Assembly:
Build and fasten components using bolts, screws, rivets, clips, and other hardware.Tool Operation:
Safely and efficiently operate pneumatic and hand tools.Machine Setup & Maintenance:
Set up equipment and perform preventive maintenance to keep production moving.Quality Inspection:
Inspect finished products to identify defects and ensure quality standards are met.Observation:
Complete required safety and quality checks to maintain a reliable work environment.Safety Commitment:
Follow all company safety policies and help create a safe workplace for everyone. What You Bring to theTable:
Basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills Basic knowledge of carpentry and electrical assembly principles. Working with hand and power tools Reading and interpreting blueprints Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Must be 18 years oldWhat Sets You Apart:
Previous experience in manufacturing Previous experience working on truck bodies Experience with electrical wiring, panel assembly, or related electrical work. Experience with custom fabrication, woodworking, or carpentry projects. Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. Previous experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environments. Construction, landscaping, or farming experience is a plus High School Diploma or equivalentGED Physical Requirements:

In this hands-on role, you'll be on your feet-standing for extended periods, walking, and using your hands to operate tools and equipment with precision. Clear communication is key, so you'll be regularly required to talk and listen as part of a safety-focused, team-driven environment. You'll also lift up to 35 pounds and perform physical movements like bending, squatting, reaching overhead, and occasionally crawling in tight spaces.
