Production Associate Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Production Associate responsible for the safe manufacturing of metal E Rings. The role involves utilizing standard measuring devices and gauges, as well as safely operating all necessary manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities Manufacture metal E-Rings according to provided documentation and procedures. Safely operate Planish Press, Belt Sander, Roll Form Machines, Polish Equipment, and Hydraulic Presses to complete parts. Read and interpret work instructions accurately. Communicate effectively with team members regarding work order status and completion. Perform assembly and inspection tasks diligently. Essential Skills Experience as a Machine Operator and Assembler. Proficiency in inspection and mechanical operations. Supervisory experience is advantageous. Basic computer skills. Ability to read and write in English. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma. Basic math skills. Must be able to lift 25 pounds. Ability to work well in a team environment. Work Environment The work environment involves collaboration with other E Ring Associates, Manufacturing Leads, and Manufacturing Support. This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager. Employees are frequently required to stand, walk, and operate machines. They must have the ability to use hands for operating machines, measuring devices, and computers, and possess close vision. Regular attendance and the ability to work cooperatively with others are expected. Available shifts are 1st shift: 7AM-3:30PM, M-F with potential for OT, 2nd shift: 3PM-12AM M-Th and 3PM-7PM Friday, and 3rd shift: 11PM-7AM Sun-Thurs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Haven, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
