Putnam, CT Pay Rate:
$20.08 per hour
Schedule:

Job Duties Performs work on an assembly line using multiple materials and adhesives. Visually inspects, packs, and labels finished parts for shipment. Trims, dips, and performs other secondary functions on finished parts as required. Uses gauges, jigs, and other measuring devices as required to check product. Performs simple setup on equipment and operates machinery as required. Moves materials as directed for placement in storage and/or loading trucks. Assists maintenance as required, including minimal routine maintenance on equipment and machinery. Assists in inventory as required. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial. Experience Requirements Ability to work safely in manufacturing and production environments. Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required. Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety. Preferred Qualifications Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Production Associate. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery. Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments. Steel/Composite Toe Shoes are required.
