Job Title:
General Production Job Description This role involves part masking of aircraft engine parts and peening and smoothing these parts to ensure quality and precision. Responsibilities Mask aircraft engine parts for further processing. Perform peening and smoothing of aircraft engine parts. Operate carousel machines and perform part blasting as required. Handle general production tasks including CNC machine operation. Essential Skills At least 6 months to a year of machine operating experience. Strong mechanical skills. Ability to take initiative and a desire to learn. Proficiency in reading and writing in English. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with blasting, air processors, or water jets is advantageous but not required. Candidates must be reliable, trustworthy, and responsible due to minimal supervision on 2nd shift. Why Work Here? Work Environment The position operates in a clean shop environment with newly acquired machines. The role is on the 2nd shift, from 3:30pm to 12:00am, Monday through Friday. Initial training will occur on the 1st shift from 8:00am to 4:30pm for up to three months. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Windsor, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
