Overview:
The Pre-Production Assistant will support the development of pre-adoption product for the division in partnership with Design, Technical Design, Merchandising, and our global vendor partners. This role assists the team in ensuring product development meets aesthetic, quality, and cost expectations aligned with brand standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, curious, eager to learn, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.You Will:
Support coordination of seasonal concept and innovation vendor presentations for the design organization Assist with fabric and trim development by partnering with the Fabric Research and Design teams to help track materials in development and coordinate sample needs Help track and organize seasonal sample development to ensure alignment with brand aesthetic and quality expectations Monitor sample development timelines and help communicate updates or delays to cross-functional partners Track development submissions from vendors, help coordinate internal reviews with Design, and assist in communicating feedback back to vendors Utilize PLM systems to help issue material and sample requests to vendors and assist in maintaining development tracking reports Support the team in gathering cost information and maintaining cost tracking tools for seasonal development Learn and develop an understanding of the vendor base and seasonal allocation strategy while supporting the pre-production team with administrative and coordination tasks What you bring: Relevant internship experience preferred Bachelor's degree in related field Impeccable written and verbal communication skills The ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Ability to balance multiple competing priorities and maintain composure under pressure while remaining flexible Ability to respond to change positively Capable of seeing the larger picture and understanding how your role impacts and influences the larger business Strong time management skills Every day will feel this good because: We have a fun-spirited entrepreneurial culture filled with truly "good" people We offer a generous employee discount so you can rep our lifestyle on-and-off the boat We offer a competitive salary package, 401-K, commuter benefits, and paid-family leave, health savings , flex spending accounts, life & disability insurance We have an onsite gym as well as health & financial wellness programs to keep you active We offer 2 summer Fridays to take off in addition to a competitive vacation policy & holiday calendarSimilar remote jobs
