Job Description

Position Summary:
This full-time contract opportunity is for a Laboratory Operations Support Specialist responsible for performing column loading and assembly tasks within a controlled, lab-like production environment. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and accurate handling of chemicals using automated machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform column loading and assembly tasks in a clean, lab-like production environment Accurately measure and dispense chemicals and solvents into columns using automated equipment Operate and monitor computer-controlled systems to ensure proper process execution Follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Maintain high levels of accuracy and precision during all tasks Adhere to safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Keep the work area clean and organized Participate in safety training and comply with all regulatory standards
Required Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a similar production environment Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly or production processes Comfortable handling chemicals and working in a controlled lab setting Basic computer skills and familiarity with automated systems Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset Ability to follow structured processes and safety protocols High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a laboratory-style production setting Prior exposure to chemicals and solvents, with safety training and PPE provided Experience working across multiple workstations with specialized processes and equipment
