Boca Raton, FL Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Benefits Health savings account Paid holidays Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Basic math Full Job Description Coburn Technologies in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Coating Manufacturing Associate / Production Assistant to support the production of optical lens coating products used by eyeglass manufacturers worldwide. Working in a small processing lab, you will mix raw materials, operate production equipment, maintain inventory, perform quality checks, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Mix and batch coating products according to established formulas and procedures. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory and production equipment. Perform quality checks and maintain accurate production records. Manage inventory and order laboratory supplies as needed. Follow OSHA safety guidelines, hazardous material procedures, and waste disposal requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory environment. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong attention to detail and basic math skills. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office. Ability to safely handle chemicals and wear required PPE. Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 60 lbs. at waist height and up to 40 lbs. above waist level Perform repetitive physical tasks. Must be able to work overtime as needed. Work Schedule Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a hands-on laboratory and manufacturing environment.
