Job Description
Print Room Operator We are a clean manufacturing company seeking a full-time Print Room Operator to join our fast-paced production team. This position is ideal for a reliable, detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn and grow within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with computer-controlled production equipment, managing multiple priorities, and maintaining consistent quality standards in a high-volume sublimation printing environment. Responsibilities Operate and monitor large-format sublimation printers and related production equipment. Prepare, process, and print production-ready artwork using RIP software and print management systems. Manage print queues and prioritize jobs to meet daily production schedules and deadlines. Perform color checks and basic color management to ensure print accuracy and consistency. Inspect printed materials for quality, color, alignment, and defects before release to production. Prepare printed transfer paper and materials for downstream manufacturing processes. Conduct routine equipment maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting to maximize uptime and print quality. Maintain accurate production records and communicate job status with supervisors and other departments. Organize and manage inventory of print media, inks, and related supplies. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Assist with process improvements and identify opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures. Work closely with Art, Production, Quality Control, and Shipping departments to ensure customer requirements are met. Qualifications Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software and equipment. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills. Ability and willingness to learn new processes and procedures. Previous experience in manufacturing, print production, sublimation printing, quality control, or equipment maintenance is a plus. Physical Requirements This is an active production position that requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and changing positions throughout the workday. Candidates must be able to safely lift and move materials as required by the job.
