Manufacturing Specialist II- Production Job Type Full-time Job Summary The Manufacturing Specialist II - Production is responsible for performing intermediate-level production tasks including complex assembly, masking, box build, hand coating/touch up, and hand potting. This role works with minimal supervision and may assist in training junior specialists. Key Metrics and Focus Areas
  • Production throughput and quality performance.
  • Accuracy of documentation and inspection results.
  • Training effectiveness with junior specialists. Responsibilities
  • Independently assemble components or systems using detailed work instructions.
  • Perform in-process inspections and document results as required.
  • Support masking, box build, and final assembly operations with accuracy.
  • Train or assist Level I specialists on standard production practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain production flow and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, ITAR).
  • Perform other duties or support other areas as needed based on business requirements or production flow. Requirements Required Qualifications
  • We are an ITAR Controlled Facility; all applicants must be U.
S. persons within the meaning of
ITAR. ITAR
defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
  • Education- High school diploma or GED Required.
  • 2+ years of experience in production or assembly roles.
  • Ability to interpret basic technical drawings and instructions.
  • Proficiency in using production documentation systems.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English to interpret work instructions, documentation, and safety requirements. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with aerospace, defense, or medical device manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with
IPC-A-610
workmanship standards.
  • Experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement activities. Physical Requirements / Essential Functions
  • Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while performing tasks.
  • Lift and move materials up to 25 lbs as needed.
  • Manual dexterity for small parts assembly and detail work.
  • Use of tools, microscopes, or fixtures in daily work.
