Job Description We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented team member to join our Night Shift Parts & Prep team in a fast-paced boat manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for preparing hulls and small part molds to ensure they are production-ready and meet quality standards for our premium offshore fishing boats. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, understands the importance of precision and consistency, and thrives in a team-driven production setting. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of hulls and small part molds in accordance with specifications and work instructions Apply mold release agents (waxing) and prepare molds for gel coating processes Set up and maintain parting tools in proper operating condition Ensure molds are prepped and available in alignment with production schedules and internal customer needs Safely transport molds and materials throughout the facility, including operation of forklifts and other equipment Inspect molds and surfaces to ensure quality and readiness prior to production use Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support production goals Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in a boat or marine manufacturing environment strongly preferred Previous experience in manufacturing, composites, or production support roles required Forklift experience preferred (or ability to become certified) Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to follow detailed instructions Excellent time management, organization, and teamwork skills Effective communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shift operations Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements include eye protection, hearing protection, gloves, protective suits, dusts masks and respirators. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Employees must be able to work a 10-hour shift or more in one work day including planned and unplanned overtime. Exhibits ability to work cautiously but efficiently in potentially hazardous conditions.
