Production Operator-Bahia

We're looking for a Production Operator to support daily Bahia field operations and help produce high-quality Bahia grass. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and thrives in a fast-paced agricultural environment. What You'll Do Maintain Bahia grass quality through mowing, field upkeep, and harvest preparation Operate and maintain farm equipment such as tractors, mowers, and harvesters Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime Assist with overall field operations to support efficient production cycles Communicate with the Bahia Manager on crop progress and operational needs Help ensure efficient operations and consistent product quality What We're Looking For Experience in farming, landscaping, or similar field preferred Ability to operate agricultural equipment Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Team player with a positive attitude Ability to adapt and manage multiple tasks Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required Valid driver's license with clean driving history required Physical Requirements & Work Environment Ability to lift, carry, and move materials regularly Physically active role (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods) Outdoor work in heat, humidity, and varying weather conditions Exposure to dust, grass, uneven terrain, noise, and heavy machinery Ability to operate field machinery including sod harvesters, tractors, and trailers Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hard hats, and work boots Must be able to work early morning start times and extended hours as needed to complete job assignments What We Offer Competitive pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off through accrued vacation Why Join Tater Farms?
