Production Assembler Job Description The Production Assembler supports manufacturing operations by assisting with machine operation and assembling sheet metal and steel components. This role involves hands‑on assembly work using mechanical skills and hand tools while maintaining productivity and safety standards in a production‑line environment. Schedule and Pay Regular work hours are 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM Overtime may be required based on production demands $14-17/hr to start Responsibilities Assist with production processes and machine operation Bolt together products and drill holes in sheet metal components Assemble products according to work instructions and specifications Work on a production line assembling sheet metal and steel parts Use hand tools safely and efficiently to complete assembly tasks Perform heavy lifting and maintain a steady work pace in a manufacturing environment Schedule Regular work hours are 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM Overtime may be required based on production demands Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of production or manufacturing experience At least 2 years of assembly experience At least 2 years of mechanical experience in a production setting Additional Skills Experience using hand tools Familiarity with general production processes and machine operation Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting and continuous assembly line work Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
