Job Responsibilities :
Understand and read carefully and accurately production schedules, works orders, prints and other specifications from the customers and suppliers, For the
Printing Activity :
Cut designs, Use heat press machine For the
Embroidery Activity :
Use Embroidery machine (supervise the production, hoop and load the garments, trime, and fold final product) For the
Shade Activity :
Cutting fabric, pressing and sewing the final product Maintain neat and orderly work areas at all time. Work in a team environment reacting to production conditions and routinely changing job functions ( ie working for embroidery, sewing or heat-press orders, depending on work flow).
Job Requirements :
High School Diploma, or equivalent education, is required. Ability to multi-task (i.e., running the heat-press, printer, sewing and embroidery machines). Ability to run and operate an industrial sewing machine Ability to troubleshoot basic sewing machine problems and fix simple issues Ability to thread machine, replace bobbins, replace needles, etc. Ability to work with oversized, large items with heavy weight fabrics and materials Ability to learn machine operation in a fast-paced environment. Frequent use of hands, wrist, and arms to operate heat press machine : requiring repetitive motion and close visual acuity. This position requires the individual to be ready to start work on-time daily. This position requires superior hand/ eye coordination and attention to detail. Will be required to walk, bend, push, pull and lift up to 25 lbs while practicing proper safety procedures, as well as work in a standing position for extended periods of time; 4-6 hours daily. Preferred Skills :
1 year of prior experience with heat-press/embroidery/screen printing is preferred but not necessary Proficiency in operating sewing machines is essential for this role. General knowledge in garments decoration is helpful Any design software knowledge is a plus.
Additional Information :
We will train the new employee in the operation of the embroidery, heat transfer, and sewing. This position typically works 20-30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, approximately 4 to 6 hours per day. Typical day starts at 9:00AM. Computer's skills are a plus.
