Solid Surface Fabricator

Solid Surface Fabricator SMI Cabinetry, Inc. is a high-end custom commercial cabinetry manufacturer with over 40 years of industry experience. Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Solid Surface Fabricators . This is a full-time, in-person position with opportunities for advancement within our company.

Responsibilities:

Operate solid surface fabrication equipment, machinery, and hand tools Set up and operate waterjet machines, CNC equipment, and other fabrication tools Perform cutting, shaping, finishing, sanding, and polishing of solid surface materials Read shop drawings, templates, and project specifications accurately (or be willing to learn) Measure, mark, and cut materials with precision and attention to detail Assist with installation as needed Safely handle and lift heavy solid surface materials Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety policies and procedures Maintain a positive, professional, and respectful attitude while working with team members

Qualifications:

Experience in solid surface fabrication, CNC operation/programming, waterjet operation, or related manufacturing experience preferred Knowledge of seaming, sanding, and polishing techniques is a plus Ability to read shop drawings and templates preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely Ability to work overtime as needed
