Job Description

CTG is seeking to fill an Equipment Maintenance Technician (Diffusion) position for our client.

Client Permanent Placement Duties:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor diffusion equipment in a wafer fabrication environment. Troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment problems and implement effective solutions. Install, operate, repair, and maintain electromechanical manufacturing equipment. Diagnose, test, and repair equipment using established electrical repair procedures. Work with pneumatic, vacuum, hydraulic, and robotic systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings. Support equipment performance and reliability in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles and practices within the manufacturing environment. Communicate equipment issues, maintenance activities, and resolutions effectively with engineering, production, and other support teams. Follow all applicable safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
Skills:
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills. Strong electronic and electrical troubleshooting skills. Demonstrated knowledge of pneumatic, vacuum, hydraulic, and robotic systems. Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Working knowledge of SPC and its application in a manufacturing environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Experience:
5+ years of experience supporting semiconductor diffusion equipment, including Thermco TMX 9000/10000 and
SVG VTR 6000/7000
systems. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance. Experience troubleshooting and repairing complex electromechanical equipment. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. This is an ITAR role; candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person. This position is 100% onsite in Palm Bay, FL. Work schedule is a compressed work week: 3 days, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM one week and 4 days the following week. Both day and night shifts are available.
Education:
Associate degree (AS or AA) in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field; military technical training may be considered. Candidates without a degree may qualify with 5+ years of relevant equipment maintenance experience. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. The expected base salary for this position is $45.00 hourly. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
