Duties Operate heavy machinery and equipment such as forklifts, saws, grinders, and welding tools to cut, shape, and finish granite and other stone materials Measure and mark materials accurately according to project specifications using hand tools and measuring devices Fabricate countertops, slabs, and custom stone pieces by following detailed and design plans Handle materials safely using proper lifting techniques and materials handling equipment to prevent damage or injury Assemble fabricated pieces on-site or in the workshop, ensuring precise fit and finish Maintain a clean and organized work environment by regularly cleaning tools, machinery, and work areas Conduct quality inspections throughout the fabrication process to ensure consistency, durability, and aesthetic standards are met Requirements Proven experience in fabrication, manufacturing Familiarity with fabrication techniques specific to granite or other natural stones such as cutting, polishing, grinding, and finishing Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently including saws, drills, grinders, and welding equipment Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling Prior experience with forklift operation or other heavy equipment is highly desirable Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot fabrication challenges effectively Join us in creating exceptional stone surfaces that elevate interior spaces!
