sarasota, florida Posted 2 days ago Closes 6/5/2026 Job details Summary Spherion $16.00 per hour Temporary 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Industry warehousing & distribution (Transportation and Material Moving Occupations) Reference number S_175456 As a Record Center Specialist, you will be the backbone of our inventory and records management process. Located in Sarasota, FL, this role involves processing orders and managing the movement of physical files, books, and backup tapes. You will spend your shift navigating a warehouse environment, ensuring that data and physical records are stored safely and retrieved accurately.

Hours:

5 days a week, 9 hours per day.

Breaks:

Includes a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.

Responsibilities:

Heavy Lifting & Movement:

Manually lift, carry, and arrange boxes ranging from 10 lbs to 100 lbs consistently throughout the shift without assistance.

Inventory Management:

Use proprietary computer systems and handheld scanners to track orders and locate specific inventory.

Loading & Unloading:

Load boxes onto pallets, shrink-wrap them at ground level, and load pallets onto trucks using hand trucks and pallet jacks.

Facility Navigation:

Walk, stand, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods; move materials up and down inclines and over uneven concrete surfaces.

Order Processing:

Read labels and process incoming/outgoing orders with high accuracy. ...

Equipment Experience:

Previous experience operating pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling aids.

Warehouse Expertise:

Prior experience in a "Light Industrial" or record center environment.

High level of accuracy in tracking inventory and reading small labels in a fast-paced setting.

Physical Ability:

Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs independently and perform repetitive movements (kneeling, squatting, bending, and twisting) for the duration of a 9-hour shift.

Safety Gear:

Must provide and wear protective footwear meeting

standards with a "Better or Best" slip-resistant rating.
